Most of our guests just want to relax, maybe take in some sights, go shopping or just grab a paper from the hotel reception and sit in the sun. But for those of you fancying a break from long lazy days and wishing to stretch your legs, we have a range of activities. Step onto the adventure bus or head directly out from the hotel to explore, discover and have some fun!
Jersey has a remarkably wide range of habitats for such a small island. Winding cliff paths, woods, sandy dunes and hidden bays all lie waiting for you to find them. We are in touch with most of the Blue Badge Guides and can book you on their various guided walks upon request. Groups can also request pick up and drop off points at various locations (dependant on availability of the minibus).
Get lost down the tranquil country lanes situated directly behind the Shakespeare Hotel. We have bicycles for hire at the hotel to suit most sizes. Jersey’s unspoiled terrain and astounding array of flora and fauna are ideally appreciated from the open freedom of a bike ride. Enjoy a leisurely scenic ride of just a few miles, or gear yourself up for the more challenging east to west and around the island routes.
We organise and run successful fishing trips using charter boats with local skippers Tony Heart and David Nuth. Jump into the Adventure bus and we will drop you off and pick you up at the end of your trip. Victorious fishermen can bring their catch back to the hotel where we are happy to either cook and serve it for your dinner, or fillet and freeze it. We can also offer airport transfer to groups wishing to go on a fishing holiday upon request
